    Default photo from a plain

I've just seen the last Wildlife photographer of the year. Two pictures taken from a airplaine (one in Namibia, one over London). Does the photos from an airplane pose particular problems? As I remember To have photographed from an airplane 30 years ago..the windows were dirty!
Thanks dfor any answers and for disponibility.

Valerio it does help to have a clean window but remember you are pressing the camera up to the glass, similar to shooting through a fence at the zoo.

One think you can do when shooting from a plane is open the lens to the widest for max shutter speed. At the distance you are shooting the dof is no problem but vibrations would be. Another suggestion is using a rubber lens hood ... this brings memories !!!

Thank you Al, Yes vibrations aren't avoided using a tripod, yes Rubber hood to avoid the eccessive luminosity by sunlight. ..good job Al
