    Default Parking Lot

I first took this shot w/ the tree straight up and down- it was boring .I re-shot the tree on an angle so after straightening the cars would be on a tilt (that's what I liked) then added a pop-art filter w/ color efex software.Did some tweaking. I also put the tree dead center on purpose.

It works for me! I like the bright colors and the overall effect. Very nice, Denise! It does seem like a rather tall composition - did you leave that much tree top on purpose? Just wondering... (It's nice this way but you could crop a bit off the top and it would still have the same effect I think.)

This works for me too, Denise, especially the cars. I think in this case, a centered tree looks good, maybe because only part of the foliage is showing. The only nit is that I'd like to see the base of the tree and cars. Love the colors from the pop-art filter, one of my faves.

Keith, I think I will go re-shoot this again inc. the tree base and more of the cars. I also think I will shoot a parking lot of just cars- I like the effect on them.

Denise: I really like the pop art effect on the cars. Can't wait to see the next one!

Very nice, Denise, I like it as presented, wouldn't crop the fork of branches on the top, they look nice.
