Default Greater Yellowlegs - First day out with 50D

Today was my first day out with my new camera. Overall I was pretty happy with it. The screen is awesome and the camera performs as I expected. While I was out I was able to find a few cooperative birds including this one.

Probly a bit tight for some...but it is what it is...

Agree about the tightness, Glenn. Lovely and sharp. I really like how the yellow legs match the yellow lichen on the rocks. Might burn in the light rock on the left edge of the image

Congrats on your new toy, lovely image, if a bit tight in the frame.

Nice first post with your 50D Glenn. Agree with your self-critique. Enjoy the new camera!

    Glenn,
I like the BG. The image might be little tight. Enjoy your new 50D. Keep the shots flowing. Dough has already convinced me. I will soon dispose off the 40D and then pick this one.
    Cheers,
