Along the High Line Trail in Glacier National Park, the mountain goats are fairly tame. In the summer they shed their heavy wool and look a little raggedy. I was able to capture these two with a fairly wide-angle lens to include some of the grand scenery.

    Susan,
Its nice that you were able to move closer to them. The wide angle gives a much different perspective. The snow is a bit hot. If you would have lowered the angle a bit, then the snow directly behind the mother would have got covered. Lot of details in this image. I like this image.

    Cheers,

Thanks, Sabyachi for commenting. I agree about the snow being hot, but if I got down lower I would have lost some of the grandeur of the mountain view.

Really sweet image Susan Excellent pose for both and great setting !!! Not sure if you had any maneuvering room for a different head merge with bg but do like it as presented. No clue how you were able to get so close !!! Big Congrats !!!
