Feeling a bit under the weather today so I was home..... since i haven't posted in a while i came upon this...and it never fails to cheer me up as it is one of my favorite birds I was looking at some old slides and came across this from quite a few years back. I have been fortunate enough to have been on Machias Seal Island 17 times......and hope to go back this year again. Of all the times I have been there.........this was the most fish/shrimp I have ever seen them bring in.......and he stood around for a few seconds right in front of me.
Only things I am sure of.....Canon EOS 3 with the 100-400mm lens and 1.4 tele. Kodak E100VS film. No other specs available.
As always comments welcomed and appreciated.

Roman: Awesome shot. The colors are beautiful and it is so sharp. The shrimp, in addition to fish, are a real bonus.

That's a real seafood platter! Wondering how it would look with a slightly warmer colour temp so have tried a a neutralised version but it reduced the lovely blue BG so masked the colour warming to the bird only - hope you don't mind. This is a lovely shot. Get well soon:)

The warmer re-post Tony put up is a better color version, imho Roman. Hope you feel better. Let me know when you come up again.

Well done Roman! Tony's repost is an subtle improvement IMO. I'd love to make it out to the island this summer if possible. Feel better!
