I was shooting Painted Storks in a wetland. After a while, I thought of doing something different. I had managed to go close to the birds. Thought of creating abstracts.

Canon EOS 40D, EF 28-135mm at 135mm, ISO 400, f10, 1/50 sec. Full frame. Would love your comments.

Sabyasachi, I like your idea in this abstract, and it does leave the feeling of the bird leaving the scene. Very creative. I think it might be even more suggestive if the legs occupied more of the frame - either by using more of the legs in the existing frame or reducing the room on the left and bottom. Also, I see some wisps of clouds at the bottom and think that if the clouds were emphasized a little more, it might add some depth to the scene. Not sure - it's something to try.
    Thanks for the post!

Sabyasachi, I agree w/ Keith on this . I think he is right about the clouds & maybe more of the legs- but I do like your thoughts here,I think they have merit.

Nice idea! I would agree with earlier comments- a bit more leg, and some clouds would do it. An original approach- let's see more!

Minimalism at its best, I like it!

I'd call this one "The Great Escape!" Good creativity, Sabyasachi! Agree that more leg would make it a stronger image but this has a nice comical feel to it!
