    Welcome to BPN, Tomas! Very nice first post, I like the pose, setting and BG. Could you have moved a bit to your left for better separation between trunk and bird? Please post complete techs and keep them coming!

    Thomas nice capture. They are very, very similar to the North American Red Breasted Nuthcatch.I like the pose. You have an excellent background. The only thing I would suggest would be to tone down or burn the hotspots. The strongest one is the lichen in the upper left corner it really pulls your eye away from the bird.

    Nice work I would like to see more,

    the complet techs are: Canon EOS 1D Mark III, EF 500mm f/4 IS, 1.4x. Fill flash -11/3, ISO 200, AV mode, f 6.7 at 1/20 sec.
