Created last weekend in the province of Quebec... There was about 100 000 snow geese on the lake and 30 to 40 photographers...

This on was photograph few minutes before the last light...

The out of focus geese form a nice band at the top. I would have loved it more if there were no out of focus snow geese in the middle. These days you find lot of photographers crowding in a place. So I would prefer out of focus snow geese in the background rather than some photographer. Thanks for sharing.

Agree that it'd be nicer if the OOF birds were above the subject, but I like it as presented too. The light is quite nice, and it's a classic pose.

    Francis,
What an excellent job. Wonderful lighting on the face and wings. A lot of good detail. Would love to see more like this.

    God bless,

    Chris

I've mentioned 80 000 on my post :D but to have an idea of the scene and number of geese , take a look to Josée Normandeau's image here http://www.pbase.com/image/105441831 ( there was many photographers , including me ;) , to the left side. )

    Dom :)
