This image of a Common Raven was taken with a Nikon Coolpix P5100 P & S with a UR-E20 adapter held up to the 30X eyepiece of a Kowa 774 spotting scope. The Coolpix was at about 2/3 zoom (86mm.) and I used spot-metering on the body of the bird. The bird was about 25M. away. I do a fair amount of digiscoping, mainly for birding "record shots", but given the right conditions and a steady hand, some quite acceptable images can be made. It's easier with big birds that stay still!
