This one is for Gus' request. Full framer! These guys are approximately three feet apart in this formation!! is that crazy or what!!?:eek: they call this formation the knife edge.

On a side note, when we first got there the light was a little better and i was able to shoot at ISO 400. it didnt take long for it to go away and i had to go to ISO 640 to keep shutter speeds up enough. the noise levels in the D300 at ISO 400 were minimal, but ISO 640 were pretty bad. had to apply lots more noise reduction than i ever have or even wanted to do.

    D300, Bigma at 165mm, f/6.3, 1/800s, 0EV, ISO 640

do you think the better beamer would have helped in this situation:p

thanks for looking. comments and critiques are appreciated.

    Simply fantastic Doctor Davis,
Thank you...:D I love the tight flight formation. It does look like a knife slicing through the air at a killer speed...good show. How bad was the noise level generated by these babies?

Full frame, way to go Harold. Like it the way it is as the different shadows make it look like sort of a jigsaw puzzle. Also Harold, is this HH?
