    Default Avocet family gathering

    Due to extremely bad weather and a very busy time at work I haven't been able to comment and go out for photography a lot lately. This one is from last summer, while I was on Texel for a short weekend. The weather was very very bad, but the avocets where lovely. A lot of families walking around and I really enjoyed watching them gathering underneath the females and sitting there for a little while warming up.....

    Great moment and I like the extra pair of legs under mom.

    Great intimate moment captured. The soft light helps and the two chicks make this one for me.
