    I wish the head wasn't cocked back, but I like the view of the plumage on the eagle's back. Looks quite regal on its' perch. Any reason you had ISO 800 and such high shutter speeds for a static subject? Also, I think you added the blue in the sky...there are aa few areas you missed in the branches ;-)

    In addition to what Daniel said, I would add that the angle seems steep. Also, for a dark subject against a bright sky, a little +EC would have helped bring out a little more detail in the darks.
