    Hi Chris,
Sweet looking shot in stunning light. My suggestion would be a slight contrast boost just to make it pop a little more. I love the soft colours.

Agree on the contrast boost !!! The sun angle is off and part of the quacker is not illuminated, can bring back with PS but will introduce noise. Remember to list the exp comp, probably the most important thing you can list.

Cropping wise I would crop half of the perch to make him bigger in frame, do like how you got him with more room to the right and got a clean bg !!! btw you could bump the ISO a little higher. Try making some images at different ISO and check the difference. I'm sure you will not see a difference between 100 and 200. 400 will be awfully close !!!

Great pose. You had good light ut it was coming from a difficult angle. I agree with most of the above although not with Alfred's suggestion to crop half of the perch. I like seeing the water below. The only other thing I might look at is some extra sharpening around the eye.

    Cheers.

Like the shot, a little more of a head turn might have been nice to get the soft light reflecting off the birds face. Just a bit of sharpening on the eye. Very pretty.

I like the composition Chris, you need to watch that sun angle...great advise given by Mr. Forns...
