    EOS-ID Mark III. 600 f/4 IS USM +EX 2.0 II and EX 1.4 II. ISO 400 1/200s f/14, comp -1/3. Yesterday's weather was "partly cloudy" giving fairly flat lighting, but a squinting bird . There's better lighting today, so on posting this I'm off to PI again. I just love doing this. Hope my feathered friend appreciates the advertising.

    I'm still envious. :) I like the light but would prefer to see a bit more of the eye. I hope you will get another chance to photograph this bird.

    It's promising to be a great Snowy Owl season. As presented I would have prefered the bird closer to the right, and cloning out the horizontal twig that is almost touching its face is something to think about. Good luck with your other outings for this species!
