    Default Egret Portrait

    An image from Gatorland last weekend.
    40D with the 100-400 IS at 400mm, f5.6, 1/2000 sec,
    ISO 160, Exp bias -1 1/3, Aperture Priority, Matrix Metering.
    Tripod mounted.
    The Egrets are getting the breeding colors to their lores.

    Welcome to BPN if I didn't before :)

    Lovely profile, excellent whites and profile. Wish he/she had turned you way a bit and maybe go back a couple of points in the green?
    Did yo use flash?

    This was in the Late afternoon sun and no flash was used.

    I like the detail, background, and composition. I agree that the green may be a little strong but the position relative to the camera seems fine to me. You have to take what they give you. Thanks for sharing.
