    This pair of woodswallows were keen to investigate a potential nest site in a hollow spout at the base of this limb.

    Canon 1d2n 500/f4 with 1.4x

    I like the head angles and details and could see this as a vertical crop, too. I don't think I've seen this species before. Thanks for sharing!

    Hi Rob Can add the tail of the left bird is awfully close to the frame edge, might give it a little more room !!! Also if going vertical also have more room up top !!! Excellent capture !!!

    Nice capture Rob. I would definitely crop from the RHS. There is a small colony not far from where I am near Penrith North and there are at least four-six nests about. I have confirmed seven chicks thus far. :)
