    Hi Lance,
    I like the composition, and capture, you have sharp details and the baby blue sky makes it rock...:D My suggestion would be to crop the perch just a tad from the bottom and tone down the bright areas in the feathers...good show...:cool:

    Hi Lance a bird that ugly should be in a cluttered bg :D:cool:

    Do check your histogram since there should be something blinking at you !!! Love the pose and open mouth !!! Excellent image !!

    everything covered, Lance. Great shot of this bird. Very nice job of getting blacks and whites exposed so well.

    Like it Lance as originally posted. I checked your whites and got a 252. Maybe a linear burn would tone them down a bit. I find when I compress files and sharpen it seems to make the white values higher and higher.
    Anyways the pic made me smile. Glad you have a bit more time to shoot!

    Hi - Yes whites are not actually over in the original - no blinkies on this one - does top out at 252 .

    that is one ugly bird!!! tie a pork chop around his neck to get him some friends!! glad you got some time to get out and snap a few. we both have been a little scarce lately. hoping to get back in some myself!
