    I am at present in one corner of India documenting a wetland and its bird life. This area is going to disappear as an industry is going to come up soon.

    I reached late and tried to shoot these Pelicans building their nest. I was shooting against the setting sun. Look forward to your comments.

    Canon EOS 40D, Canon EF 400mm F2.8 L IS USM, ISO 500, f2.8, 1/1250. Full frame.

    I Iike the pose and the light but I would prefer a cleaner bg!

    Amazing colour in the sky. Agree re the BG - mainly the second bird behind the head - this would probably clean out quite easily because of the backlightling leaving a bright rim around the subject.
