I can imagine why this is your favourite from Runde. It is a great image full with action. The bird on the right could use a bit more space, but further then that no nits from me. Runde is high on my travellist. Must be awesome to be there. Just checked your Runde Pportfolio online and i am impressed. great work!

"bird on the right could use a bit more space" - Yes, I agree, picture not croped, this is full size. All photos from Runde (two trips, one week always) on my web page are here - http://www.naturephoto.cz/hledani.ht...=runde&x=0&y=0
I advise you photographic trip to Runde!

    Hi Ondrej,

    What a pair!!!

Although I agree more space on the right would have been nice, I'll be glad to have this in my portfolio :)

Super image! I like the color saturation and sharpness combined with an interesting subject.

I like the tight crop here. The right-hand bird is looking back towards the photographer and not out of the frame, and if there was more room to the right the spectacular wings would not fill the image so effectively. I also love the selective focus, which seems to be on the wings of the left bird and the eye of the right bird. For me, this adds drama to the scene.

An evocative image that sums up this aggressive species.

Capturing interesting behaviour in an artistic manner is the ultimate challenge - you did well here:D
