Lilac-breasted Roller, Samburu, Kenya, late afternoon sun. Suggestions on cropping/cloning out bushes on right? Thanks!

Lovely light and bg. The pose would lend nicely for a vertical crop rather than the landscape one you have presented.

something along these lines. I hope you don't mind.

great light and wonderfull bird! I agree on the portrait crop, but also would be tempted to making it a square to have more space at the right side of the bird

Great shot Cindy, interesting to compare this to the Liliac-breasted Rollers from further South in Africa which are paler (Gloger's rule). I would crop a little from left, right and top but not much. The sloughed snake skin in the bush is a real bonus.

    Hi Cindy,

A beauty. I like as presented, it includes some of the habitat the bird lives in and the framing is pleasant. There are a few other effective crops in this, most of them working :)

Cindy, I really love it. The warm tones of the bg and the settings are very nice.
The composition is also nice. I would crop it differently. The right part of the bush makes me think but cannot decide.
However the snake dead skin looks a bit distracting :)
