    After a good drink of water the vulture turned round making a few hops and a run, took off. The dam in the background is reflective of the dull day it had been in the Kruger National Park, but the vulture made up for it.

    Cool takeoff pose. It is just a bit tight in the frame for my taste and the bird looks a bit soft on my monitor.

    I like the takeoff pose....especially just the single toe touching the ground. Good head angle and exposure control. The bird is a bit soft.
