This is the next morning. Approximately 7 horizontal frames stitched into this one. 1D Mark III, EF 24-105 @ 35mm, 1/25 sec @ f/8, ISO 200.
The floor of the canyon wasn't quite as interesting as the pink buttes in the distance and no one else was there with me so I could swing more to the right. Original file is 23K pixels wide.

I really like the flow of the canyon from the left, but then I'm suddenly jarred by the drastic difference in tonality on the right edge of the frame. I'm sure that it was to include some "foreground"--the part of the canyon from which you were photographing. But it is so different from the rest of the canyon that I wonder if excising it from the photograph wouldn't make it stronger?
