Thanks to Jim Fenton for the firmware heads up, and as my buddy James Salywoda says in an eariler post ... (and with superb flight shot), the D300 seems to have more jump in the AF, with a quick test today, I am very encouraged., thanks to Nikon.
Super Shot Ray!!!!! Great pose excellent detail. As I mentioned to you earlier my friend I do like the feel to the Nikon D300 focusing adjustment.... I look forward to future testing to.;)
Well caught, Ray. Was this one of a burst? If so one with the wings raised further to give better head separation from the wings may be nicer. The head angle and eye contact is good but the head is getting lost in the line of the wings. Sharpening halos around the talons are a little obvious.
