Looks like you were dealing with some harsh light as well, but did a good job with it. I like the poses and comp.

    Default Nice pose!

Looks like you're making good use of the DO lens. I keep looking at it. I suppose I shall have to borrow one and see what happens. Physically, it's a nice size to use.

    Steve,
I love the poses and the detail. You did well in that lighting, I also like that you showed some of the habitat. How are those little guys surviving there along the front range? There used to be a lot of prairie dog towns all through that area. It sure is fun to watch those little critters.

    God's light to ya,
    Chris

    Steve,

I would have loved these fellows with their forearms/ hands raised so as to suggest that they are pointing out to somebody "Look what that fellow is wearing"..:D

The light had become strong. You got nice dof, lot of details. Thanks for sharing. I agree with the composition. Nice and sharp.

    Cheers,

My experience has shown its not a lens for pixel peeping or for someone who doesn't like PP as it does require a little more processing than my 1-400L. It does handle quite nicely though.

Thanks for the comments Chris. Not quite as many as these around as there was back when I first got here (1999). The fields they lived in are now subdivisions. A couple of incidences of plague doesn't gain them many supporters either. These were from Wind Cave NP, SD. They're doing quite well up there.
