Default Care of cameras near the sea

I'm heading for a weekend shooting shorebirds, and was wondering what special care should be taken with the equipment.
    Any advise welcome!

Nothing special Patricio Just take a brush with you to brush sand of the camera. Always try to keep your hands free of sand, I have a towel handing form my tripod for wiping hands. Any sand that works its way in while changes lenses will be a problem.

I do a lot of photographing on the beach and the equipment does take a beating.

I would also recommend at the end of each day you dampen a 100% cotton towel (an old T-shirt works great) and dampen it with fresh water and wipe down all your equipment this removes any salt residue that might be on it.
