    Experimental Blurred Autumn Color

OK, this is waaaaaay out of my comfort zone. After reading my last Birds As Art Bulletin, and saw Artie's example of slow shutter speed and wind blown leaves, I thought I would give it a try. Well, none of my many many images bear ANY resemblance to the image Artie included in the bulletin. lol. Least of all this one. Oh well. Very little was done in PS except changing the radius in the Unsharp Mask.

I sent this to family members. None liked it.

This is extremely scary for me to submit something this weird, but figured it was the only way to hear what you think. Go ahead, talk to me. Already I am having second thoughts about the image, so I am going to hurry and click the submit button before I delete it.:eek::eek::eek:

    Hi Cheryl,
I like that you are trying to experiment. I found the colours a little harsh, so I tried using an Orton effect, Gaussian Blur, and using the history brush to reveal parts of the original image. Just an idea:)

Jackie, I like the softness in your image. Yes, the colors and texture is very harsh in mine. I left it that way since it reminded me of some of the paintings done with very thick paint strokes. here is the same image with more typical sharpening....
Thank you for your ideas, Jackie!
