Lightroom 2.1 Question & Crashed Drive

Quick question, one of my hard drives crashed. These were my film scans that were on an external which were in my Lightroom Library. I am now transferring from a backup drive those images onto a new drive.

Should I delete the old Lightroom Library and reimport it? or should I do something else? The images in Lightroom or rather the old images I get the message that the file is "offline or missing"

Mike I would try re importing but just a few to see how it goes The main thing is to keep all the info with the image.

I have taken to covert everything to digital negative so there is no question. Version 2.1 is more flexible.

Alfred, are you doing the DNG conversion on all your raw files? are you still keeping your raw files or deleting them?

I saw that option and wondered if that was the way to go ....
