    Default Royal Tern

I photographed this Royal Tern against a backdrop of the beautiful Pacific Ocean. The diagonal line at the bottom is a wave.

Very nice flight pose and great light! Exposure is excellent as compostition as well, BG is nice although that dark blue at the bottom is a little distracting to me. Congratualtons!!!

WOW ! So much details in this picture ! I'd not remove the wave because I like the 3 colors for the BG.

Lovely flight pose and light, Doug. I agree with Ramon regarding the darkness at the bottom - tried a quick edit with clone stamp in lighten mode to reduce it. Maybe a little NR in the shaded areas.

PDF = prettyy darned perfect. I actually like this much better with the angled dark band of blue than without. Thanks, however, to Tony for his re-post. The gray upper half looks mottled; a QM and some NR and/or Gaussian Blur would probably help.

Superb posture, and love the feather detail from the wings. I feel the BG is fine. I really like this, and well captured Doug.
