Does this photo have any merit. I like the two of them together- the kid is soft ,does that matter alot?
If this is acceptable then I will clone out goat in BG I figured I'd ask before I do any work to it.

    Hi Denise,
Nice exposure on this. I like the look on the kid's face as well as the alert pose of the nanny. The kid doesn't look overly soft to me. Besides, how else should a soft, fluffy lamb look :). I've looked at this one a few times and the one thing that sticks out to me on this photo is all the "missing" parts. Missing front legs, rock covered back legs on both nanny and kid, and the just a little to OOF goat in the rear. I think there's a nice crop in this one somewhere but I'm not yet sure how I'd do it. If it was mine, I'd keep it for future reference.

Steve, I think you're right. I couldn't put my finger on it-but now it makes sense. Thankyou for your advice.

I agree witht he previous comment. I am not a fan of cloning so would leave the background goat. The image could be brightened overall, as as mentioned, play around with the comp

    Denise,

I don't like the Out of focus goat at the back. I am ok with the Kid. I agree with Steve's suggestion regarding the legs cutoff. I tried a tight crop specifically to remove the legs. I feel if there is a hint of legs or any organs that appears in the picture, then your eyes would want to see more of it. So better to completely remove it. I don't have a problem with legs covered in the grass or rock, but most of the times I try to see that the virtual legs are not cutoff.

I look for your feedback to the crop suggestion.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Sabyasachi, I like the crop- I will clone out the OOFgoat now that I have a photo I like. Thanks!

I will go out on a limb here. I like the original COMP and I like the third animal in the back. Go figure. Overall the image is too cute and very interesting.
