    Michael: I really like the feel of this. I like the lines of the roads-- really makes for a strong comp.. My only nit is the black limbs at the top center which draws my eye out of the shot.

    I hadn't noticed it when I shot it; I debated whether to crop out the top; I agree with you

    I agree with Joanna, Michael. Those limbs at the top are the only thing distracting from this image. I love the rest! From a b&w standpoint, I wouldn't mind seeing a little more "hard black" in here somewhere...it does have quite a few shades of white and middle gray but not a lot of black. Just a thought...

    My vote for the removal of the dark branch on top. Very good composition, I love the mood here...:cool:

    Just the mentioned branches Mike This is a natural for the IR treatment !!


    btw for some reason not having anything in Dmax doesn't bother me as much as it would in a straight b&w image but I think Jules suggestion will improve the image !!! I like it a lot Mike !!!
