    Very nice pose and colours, BG is great as well as light, the only nit to me is the perch that looks to stiff and big for the bird and the fact that the bird is too centered, still, great shot! Congratulaitons!

    I agree with Ramon re the perch, Mark, but it is a lovely looking bird in good light with a lovely BG. I would crop from the right and add to the left to give space for the bird to look into

    I have to agree with Ramón regarding the perch and the composition with the bird a little bit centered. The BG is really pleasant and the bird is sharp as a tack. Love the eye contact too. A very nice species that I have not ever seen by the way ;-)
