    Took this in March of this year at Paurotis Pond in the everglades.

    Nikon D200, Nikon 300mm F4 w/ 1.4tc, Focal length 420mm, F8, 1/640, ISO 400, Aperture priority, exposure comp -1 1/3, Hand held.

    Great Shot Oscar. Love the placement in the frame. Even got the HA/eye contact! Just a few cloning marks at the bottom.

    ( Does Harold know about this ):)

    I like this very much, I like the open mouth, placement in frame and details...good show...My personal tast...:D I would lighten up the water just a tad...I know that you like the dark backgrounds; but in this case, the subject is already on the dark side, so you need a lighter background to make him stand out...:):cool:

    Great image, Oscar! Did you try to lighten his pupil or add a catch light to his eye? I think that would pop this image even more.

    Good looking gator and looks like he is in need of Dental work !! Glad those teeth make a comeback !!! Processing looks really good on this one !!!

    Awesome image! agree about the catch light, and lightening the water. But even as is, it is an attention getter!!
