Olla and welcome. Wonderful first post. Great light and a lovely subject. The bird is stuffed into the horizontal frame and the virtual feet are cut off. This needed to be a vertical!

Welcome to BPN! Lovely light and background, and the soft oof grasses in the foreground are lovely. Agree with Artie that the image could use more room above and below and that a vertical would have been great here. I am certainly looking forward to seeing more of your posts!

Very nice! pose is great and light is terrific! BG is outstanding, I too, as Arthur, would've loved more room on the bottom so that the virtual legs don't get cut off, but still, very nice.

Felicitaciones y bienvenido!

Hi José Manuel and big wellcome on board. I am glad to see your excelent work posted here and I look forward to see more of your images here. The light that you got from the "marismas" (marshes) around Doñana National Park is to die for. The sharpness in this image is fantastic and I really like the terrific low angle and the bird pose. This is a difficult especies to expose but you did a very good job. I agree with those suggesting more room at the bottom of the frame but I prefer the landscape format over the vertical. The background is superb!
    Keep them coming!

Hi, and sorry to all for not translating my original reply. Basically, I said that I liked the photo a lot -- great light, pose, sharpness, BG, and I thought the composition was fine. I stand by the horizontal composition, but I do agree after reading the other comments that a bit more room on top and bottom would be nice.

    Saludos/Cheers,
    Greg
