I shot this Big Horn at Glacier NP . I hiked to hidden lakes w/ my 500 lense- never expecting to get close enough for a shot. All of a sudden a herd turned the corner and came right at us. I stood still and he got TOO CLOSE ! What are the chances of that. I could only get a head shot. This is zero crop w/ canvas added. Oh well..

    Hi Denise,
I like the composition and capture. My only concern is the harsh sunlight and the hot spots on the nose area. Tone down the whites just a tad...

Lucky you! And you did good here. Nice BG, too. You could add even some more canvas!

Your composition and details are great. Do agree with Gus regarding the light.
But none the less, a beautiful portrait.

Nice shot Denise. To be so close that you couldn't get him all in the frame is pretty amazing. Like the earth tones, pose, and sharpness. Very pretty.

Nice getting that close Denise !!! If you had time would have stopped down more for dof At those close distances its very little !!!

Did well with the exposure, sure wish the light was a bit more from over your shoulder but do like it a lot as presented !!!
