    Steve,

    This works well for me. Including the torso makes the head location in the image OK IMO. The BG is great and contrast well with the deer. Great sharpness.

    Comp seems to work for me as well. Lovely blurred BG. I might have liked a tad more of the deers neck for context. Overall very nice.

    The Rabbit Brush is certainly thick this year and it makes a nice color background. The only thing I might have done differently is to warm the overall color balance slightly. The fact that she is in the shade would still be very evident and I don't think it would be over the top. The weather we're having right now makes me anxious to get out for some late fall shooting up here in Summit County. Not much snow yet so wildlife would be fun. Maybe the moose are out.

    Hi Steve,
    I like the composition as presented...you have sharp details and good color rendition. the soft background compliments your subject very well...congrats...:cool:
