    This is a young Pied-billed Grebe at the local Waterfowl Park with the 50D. The marks on the bill and face give away the age of the bird.

    This is cropped to about 75% of original.

    The soft light is sweet and the comp is great, esp the nice s - curve in the neck, feather details are great also.

    I would just darken the ULC a little and thats it.

    An all around pleasing image.... I might just crop a wee bit off the top to eliminate the white spot in the upper left.

    Excellent detail with a very nice color and light. Agree about the minor bright spot up top.

    The bird is beautiful. The detail in the plumage (especially the softer flank feathers) is excellent. Might add a little canvas to the right side. Like it. !!
