    Hi Folks:

Have had Thrasher's living in a Cholla cactus in our garden for 19 years, and they sure take charge. This guy is the Boss.

    CC's Welcome and always appreciated.

I like the pose and intent eye contact, and your angle and sharpness. I find the small branch stub between its feet and the very small brown spot by the toenail on the far right, to be distracting. And I might try a bit more contrast to bring out the feather details or something to make it pop more.

    Hi Cheryl:

Good thing there is only 2 kind of Ladies, "Good ones and better ones" :D as I would only take on a job like this for a "Gold plated Lady" ;)

BTW: There were 3 pies of caca, not one . . . .

Anyway, it was fun & I'm not going back to remove the itzi bitzi knot between his toes

    Keep smiling

Gus, Now I see the 3 pieces. I guess I didn't notice them since I couldn't take my eyes off the bird. lol.

I like your repost. Did you add more contrast to the perch?

I think this image has earned more than one glass of Vino. lol
But I like the perch less noticeable, like it is in the original post.

Nice one Gus - like the 1st version better.

Heres anopther CS4 thing to look at - in CS4 you can now merge photo's with differing levels of Focus (AKA Helicon Focus) to create a shot with a huge depth of field from many photo's with differring focus points.

    ;)

    Hi lance:

Thanks young man, I like it too because it was made with the camera with all its warts, not PS.

Skimmed over the varing depths of field, so much to do, so little time :(

Like that "Content Aware Scaling", that was a great "Heads Up."

I think a lot of folks miss out on all the articles and tutorials in CS4 "Help"

Only advantage 84 gives me is that I can get by on less sleep. Mind you a nap helps.:)

    Appreciate all your tips

    Gus
