    Nice pose. The bird is a bit centered for my tastes. I would also apply some sharpening.

    P.S. When posting include the techs so we can give better critiques.

    Great suggestions Aidan I'm sure the original is plenty sharp, might give it a slightly more USM, will turn fine. Mostly square crops are not all that attractive but this is not bad Agree it would look better with a little more room up front !! Processing wise I would brighten the bird more Looking forward to more !!! btw don't forget the tech info !!

    Good suggestions. Wonderful perky pose......especially the eye contact and raised crest. Just needs a bit more USM. The square crop is ok for this composition but I'm not a big fan of that crop. Well done.
