    Good looking bird !!! Would like to see the image a little lighter in general and maybe smooth out the bg I like the pose and eye contact !!!

    Loukie nice bird here. If it weren't for thefoliage in the lower right I might have though that you had desaturated everything here but the bird's colours.

    Nice shot, Loukie. I like the pose with the leg forward and the head angled. Agree with Al regarding lightening the image - a little + exp comp may have been good. I would clean out the bright reflectoipn from teh water that is touching the bird's left (viewer's right) leg.

    I noticed the problems the white spot etc just too late, I had pressed the button, I tried to jazz it up with curves and bright/contrast. Hope it is better.

    Repost a good improvment, Loukie. Just careful not to take a bite out of the back of the leg when patching out the bright spot
