Could have cleaned up the water a little but thought it added a little interest to the habitat, thank you Al.

I like it Bill. You did a good job with the whites. Nice and sharp too. Love the deep blue of the water. Any word on the 50D Part III saga?

Waiting for the new part 3 to arrive, did you have the same issue with yours ? The camera wasgiving me the error message 99 continuously, but I must tell you that the people at Hunt's photo were absolutely wonderful and are handling the problem with tremendous professionalism, they have gone over and above to help me through this problem, there just fantastic.

I got mine at Hunt's too. I've had one Error 99 and one Error 01 since I got mine. I've now shot about 10,000 frames with it. If I'd had problems like you're describing, I would have exchanged mine for a new one too!

    Default 50d Problem

    Hi Bill,
Had the same error with my new 50d. Had to undo the lens and pull out the battery. Hooked everything back up and I haven't had the same problem since - great photos from this camera compared to my 20D. By the way, I too was using a 500L at the time. Wonder if it's some kind of compatibility problem?

    Take care,

    Steve Large

The new firmware (1.0.3) is supposed to fix the Error 99 problems.
