Good composition. Suggestion: I would clone out the small vertical piece of the branch that sticks up. It brakes up the natural flow of the perch, and open up the eye area just a tad and selective sharpen it...you have a good image...:D So is this an indication that the rest of the clan will be populating Anhinga Trail any time soon...:):cool:
Hi Oscar Why don't you take this image ( the RAW file) to the class tomorrow night. I'm interested in converting so I can compare to the posted. I'm seeing something I can't figure out. Has to do with the way the feathers look and has to do with processing. This will help !!!
Composition wise would move the bird to the right side, would like seeing more space toward the direction its looking !! Sure hope they start arriving soon, we are getting our first cool day !!!

Nice composition, great bg. It seems like the bird may be a bit soft as in less than tack sharp, but it may be that the feathers are actually physically soft after a fall molt maybe?
Either way this is a keeper.
