One month to go until we will run our Grey Seals workshop again. Can't wait to return to this awesome place :). This photograph is from a private trip that I made at the begin of this year. Let's cross our fingers for some good weather (anything without rain would work). Can't wait to use the D3/14-24 combo on these fellows.

Cool shot, cool comp and very cool yawn, the FF is perfect. Love the clouds! If there is one thing that is maybe slightly distracting it would be the shadow band on the right, but that is without a doubt pushing (the nitpicking)it a lot ;) Some might feel that this would have been better with the eyes showing but they are closed with this behavior anyways so it mostly doesn't bother me a bit! Awesome shot that makes me want to take another looks at my shots of these animals, see you soon bud!

Beautiful new perspective. I liked this picture very much and also the clouds above add a lot to this pic.

    Hi Jasper,
I like the low angle and the lines of the clouds make a nice accent in the sky. I also like the detail in the belly fur and inside the mouth. Even though he's yawning, my first impression with the open mouth and the body position is that he's dead.

I love the subject, crop, lighting, sky and low angle. In my opinion you hit all the bases and slid safely home.

Nice work with the wide-angle Jasper.
