    Hi Tero,
Welcome to BPN! I agree with you. You will find some nice stuff here.

Colourful pheasant. Nice background. Though the head is turned towards you, the eye and the body are not in the same plane since the body is angled. The f5.6 aperture is not sufficient to cover up. It would have been better with f8. I am not suggesting higher, as you were already at 1/500 sec.

This is a good post to start with. Keep on posting.
    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Love the setting and the low shooting angle. A killer Pheasant shot IMO. I would add more blacks to the mid toines to tone down the brightness of the grasses and BG.

Hi Tero Big Warm Welcome !!!!!!

I like the mood and careful framing, agree with dof suggestion. Excellent low angle and eye contact. Might even be a stronger image some some off the top? I like seeing the bird slightly larger in frame Looking forward to many more !!!

I like it! It is not easy to frame and compose large tailed birds and IMO you did great here, love the exposure, the BG and the light, DOF is excellent too. Congratulations and welcome!
