    Taken at the Green Cay Wetlands with a Canon 50-D and 100-400-IS/L lens.
    ISO=320 at f/8 - 1/1000th of a sec. manual mode.

    All comments and critiques are very welcome and encouraged, thank you all.

    Hi Bill Would crop from top and bottom for proportion and then leave more space up front Best not to center the bird. I like the pose and direct look Catching these little guys is a labor of love !!! btw would also suggest going at it wide open to minimize the bg

    Good suggestions by Al! I would add that the eye isn't as sharply focused as I'd like to see it. The area of sharpest focus appears to be the body behind the leg. Keep up the good work Bill!

    Hi Bill,

    I like the composition suggestions but we must be realistic. The bird is completely out of focus.

    Keep trying!
