    Default White-breasted Nuthatch

Here is one of the more common species up here, and one I haven't photographed in a while (too busy with migrants!). This image was taken at a heavily used trail system, thus this individual was likely looking for a handhout...which is fine with me if it wants to pose like this!:)

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @400mm, 1/400s., f/6.3, ISO 250, -0.3 EC, natural light, handheld, ~85% Full frame.

Lovely shot, Daniel, I can only echo Ramon's comments.

Beautiful capture for all the above mentioned reasons. Love the lighting and BG in this one.

I seem to lose my individuality when I'm always agreeing with the posts prior to mine, but so be it. I agree with all the people before me just a wonderful image Daniel, fantastic.

Superb image Daniel. I love everything on this photograph specially the fantastic creamy colored BG that compliments finely the bird´s color. Love the bird´s pose and the light. Very good DOF control, BTW.
