Common Loon with Bass

Taking a boat out onto a crystal clear lake in Michagan, with loons diving all around me, must be one of my favorite photo opportunities. I cannot wait to photograph these loons again in my upcoming June 2009 workshop!

Superb job on this one Mathew :eek::eek:. Love the fantastic textures of the water on the bird´s head, they looks like liquid metal! the low angle, the light and that amazing eye are too good to be true. The bass is a great bonus and adds a lot to the image. In a perfect world I would like to see the fish facing to the observer;)
