    Took this on a ranch East of Denver. I was especially drawn to the yellow colors. Canon 20D, 100-400mm @ 400mm, 1/500 @ f9, +1ev, ISO 400.

    H Joanna Love the composition with the strong colors Would like to see the point of focus on the bird, looks like the fence is the sharpest? I like how you were able to compose with colors Great eye !!!

    Very nice Joanna the comp. is excellent very pretty colors I do agree with Alfred on trying to maintain focus on the bird. Thanks for sharing....

    Wonderful colors and a lovely bird. Alfred and James are right....the point of focus seems to be on the fence. I'm wondering if a horizontal might have worked here as well.....I usually try both....when the bird is willing to cooperate.
