I have not had time to stop by lately----Wow there are some fantastic images posted!!!

This was taken at the New Orleans Zoo-- I do love to photograph primates!
1/200, f5.6, FL400mm. Taken yesterday on a field trip with my photo club---super bright sun light all
day. This guy was sitting in the shade.

Kathy, this is stunning-great light , color and details-nice pose as well. I would probably guess everyone is going to say you should take a little off the left so your subject isn't in the center. But I like it as posted!

That is an impressive photograph of a magnificent Silverback. Should the top of his head be included? I will leave that to the experts, but I believe the way it he/she is positioned lends to the overall strength of the subject and the photograph.

Got it Kathy Left your original in case there are any changes with the new upload

I would like some of the back but not so much to keep of center but making the face larger in frame. Its the center of focus (no pun intended) Love the capture !!!

Kathy: Superb image. Nice Comp and great light. I like the light color around the face. Just a little catch light, too. Really nice, makes we want to visit out zoo!

Very nice. Great details in the fur. The colors seem right on. Good show.

Like it just the way it is Kathy. Love the colours and focus on the eyes.
