    Default American Wigeon Part II

Here is the companion to the female wigeon I posted the other day. I really liked the pose this male struck for me.

Beautiful Doug. Love the colour and eye detail, and the action. The tone of the BG really nicely complements/matches the pinkish tones of the bird (it's amazing and almost magical how often this seems to happen!).

Interested in the ISO 800 on the 50D. Can't see any noise in the image. Did you do any reduction? Is ISO 800 equal to ISO 400 on the 40D?

Very nice capture in lovely lighting and excellent detail. Good low angle and the open beak is a nice bonus. Lovely capture Doug.

Doug, this is fantastic. I saw a few of these yesterday but they kept turning their backs on me and swimming far away... ;-)

This is lovely, Doug - the pair would make a lovely set of prints for display.

Hi Doug! as I have mentioned before, I am not a duck-lover, but your duck images are something else!
Great details, BG, and the open beak adds a lot to this picture, congrats.
