Took this picture of the unusual behaviour of a Saddleback vs Tui a few weeks ago.
However feel the image is spoiled by BG.
Would appreciate any reposts or suggestions on re-editing with Photoshop Elements.
Thanks : Ian McHenry

Hi Ian - Uncle Gus might be able to help you out with a repost - also needs some more canvas at the bottom and some tail reconstruction on the lower bird. (Tail cut off)
:)
Thanks Lance
Had a go at fixing tail !!!
Cheers: Ian Mc
Agree on the bg Ian Would also suggest to give it a little more exp comp, not sure what you used but probably needed plus one. Good image for fill flash !!!
Hi:
Only had time to work on the bottom half, but from what I could gather this the shape of the tail. BG is a Bear, and I'm up for a vino tonight :D:D:D
Not a piece of art,
Ian has a full Saddleback on Flicker, but only the same photo of the Tui posted. I like the red back on the Saddleback. I found a Tui on another site and used the tail from it to make a pattern and used it to revamp tail end and added it to tail of original.
Sorry it didn't come out better, but IMHO, this is one case where I would try for another one. Though from what I found out, photos seem to be rare.
Uncle Gus :D

Hi Ian,
very good advise given, I like Uncle Gus' repost with the reconstructed tail...
Thanks Uncle Gus
You're an artist.
Great tail repair job and colour enhanced Tui.
Back ground colour change has erased the metallic look.
You're vino is well deserved !!!
Best Wishes: Ian Mc
Hi Folks:
Seeing Lance said I could probably come up with something, this is for him :D:D:D
Anyway, after my second half glass of Vino I found myself sitting at the computer trying to come up with at least something. The background was hand painted with the new CS4 Clone tool at least 15 changes of hardness and opacity, also with and without the new show layout.
Some folks might think of blurring the background, however I like it how it is,;)
Some might say, "A labour of love," others might say, "Punt."
Thanks for bearing with me.
Uncle Gus :D:D:D

Thanks Again: Cheers: Ian Mc
